Learn Hebrew Calligraphy with an professional calligrapher

As a Hebrew calligrapher I design handmade pieces for Jewish weddings. The letters are full of beauty and mystery. I would love to share my knowledge with you on calligraphy techniques and my signature Hebrew letter style. We'll also discuss composition tips and tricks and ideal set ups to avoid ink spills. I will also provide worksheets for further practice even after the class!

Hi there! I'm Malka, a calligrapher & illustrator living in Israel. I remember the moment I fell in love with letters & drawing as a child and I've never looked back. As an artist now it brings me so much joy to create custom pieces for people & businesses who value bespoke and quality craftsmanship. I put my soul in to creating lettering & illustration artwork for my clients who treasure a beautiful aesthetic the way I do.

My latest passion is online teaching and workshops! I absolutely love sharing my expertise and artistic passions with eager students!

Requirements - material and skills:

-Pad of quality non absorbent paper such as bristol, or a Rhodia pad
-Pencil and eraser
-Tracing paper
-Broad edge Dip pen like Speedball (size c1 or c2)
-Calligraphy ink, such as Sumi or India


You don't need good handwriting to learn calligraphy :) Just patience and practice and a smile!

This is a class suitable for all levels from beginners to advanced.
